Privacy Policy

• Account info: name, phone number, email, Aadhaar (Pros only, for KYC), language and theme preferences.
• Bookings: service address, problem description, scheduled time, price, ratings and reviews.
• Location: live GPS of Pros while a job is active, so you can track them on the map. We do not track Pros when they are offline.
• Device: basic browser / device info to keep your session secure.

To run the marketplace: match you with a verified Pro nearby, show ETAs, process payments, send booking notifications, and keep both sides accountable through ratings.

Only the Pro who accepts your booking sees your name, phone and address — they need this to do the job. We share aggregate, anonymous statistics with our analytics tools. We never sell your data to third parties.

Your data is stored on managed servers operated by Neon (PostgreSQL) and Cloudflare R2 (file storage). Both are encrypted at rest and in transit. Payments by UPI go directly between your bank and the Pro's bank — Kaaro does not see your bank details.

We keep your account info as long as your account is active. Booking history is kept for 7 years for tax and audit reasons (Indian law). If you delete your account from Settings → Privacy & data, your name and email are erased and your bookings are anonymised within 30 days.

You can, at any time:

• Download a copy of your data — Settings → Privacy & data → Download my data.
• Delete your account — Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account.
• Ask us to correct anything that looks wrong — email hello@kaaro.in.

We use cookies only to keep you logged in and remember your theme and language choices. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Kaaro is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, email hello@kaaro.in and we will remove the account.
